The Algarve is the perfect backdrop for your horse riding adventure. With unspoilt countrysides, beautiful beaches and the national parks of the westcoast, there’s plenty to explore by horse back.
Our riding school offers incredible riding opportunities for all level riders, from beginners up to advanced horse riders looking for a challenging day. Riding Hats and Boots are provided.
Beginners Ride: 48€
Starting at our Horse Riding School, you’ll learn the basics of riding before venturing out into the beautiful countryside for a peaceful ride in the sun! 1 hour and 20 minutes of riding.
Pathfinder Ride: 60€
Our Two hour Pathfinder Ride is a great chance to explore our hidden tracks and trails through the vast Algarve Countryside.
Safari Ride: 85€
With about 3 hours in the saddle, our Safari Ride is highly recommended for those with riding experience. We’ll ride along the coast line and explore the forests of the National Park.
Floresta Day Ride: 140€
A 3-4 hour ride out to the National Forest, where a sumptuous picnic is taken beneath the pine trees, with views to the mountains of Monchique. The two hour ride back follows the contours of the hills and passes through sleepy villages returning through the Almádena valley.
3 Day Adventure Rides – Intermediate and Advanced riders (10 hours in the saddle)

Day 1: 3 hours of riding – Coastal Safari: Riding along the picturesque coast from Almadena to Luz to Burgau and back.
Day 2: 5 hours of riding – Floresta Ride: Riding from the stable to the National Park of Barao Sao Joao for a picnic lunch under the pine trees, riding back to the stables by a different route (a total of 7 hours out).
Day 3: 2 hours of riding – Pathfinder Ride: To village of Espiche, around abandoned farmland and back to the stables.
3 Day Discovery Rides – Beginner and Novice riders (7 hours in the saddle)
